José MENENDEZ started his carrier in 1955 at BONTAMI, a refrigerated materials company, that he left in 1974 to enter the SONEPAR Group. He participated, beside Henri COISNE, founder of the society, to the development of the group, first in France and then on an international level, transforming it into a world leader in the distribution of electrical and technical materials. SONEPAR makes 14 billion Euros of income in 32 different countries across the world, with more than 30.000 co-workers. José MENENDEZ has been, until 2002, the general manager of the COLAM Entreprendre Holding, after being president of the board of directors. He is now member of the board of directors, President of the Audit Committee and occupies miscellaneous counseling functions in the heart of the Group’s subsidiaries.
